How to create event specific tasks attached to information, hazards & incidents

Creating tasks on mobile

  1. Browse to the relevant channel

2. Locate More at the top of the screen via the channel tabs, from this select Tasks

3. You will be taken to the Tasks tab with 'My Tasks' and 'All Tasks'

4. In the top right corner, tap on the "+" icon and choose whether you want to attach your task to information, hazard, incident or create an unlinked task.

5. If a linked task, select the specific item you wish to attach your task to.

Note - You can only add tasks to documents, hazards, and incidents in the published state.

6. On the next screen, enter a title for your task

7. Other details available to set for a task include:

  • Description

  • Assignee

  • Priority level

  • Due date

  • Location

  • Reference

  • Attachment

8. Tap Save in the top right corner to complete

Creating tasks on desktop

  1. Browse to the relevant channel (left hand side)

2. Tap on Tasks in the channel tabs (top right corner)

3. In the top right corner, click on the Add button and choose whether you want to attach your Task to a Blert, hazard, incident, document, or create an unlinked task.

4. If a linked task, select the specific item you wish to attach your task to.

Note - You can only add tasks to documents, hazards, and incidents in the published state.

5. On the next screen, enter a title for your task

6. Other details available to set for a task include:

  • Priority level

  • Assignee

  • Description

  • Due date

  • Reference

  • Location

  • Attachment

7. Click Add to complete

Tasks can be updated by channel managers and task assignees. They can be managed via editing the task.
