What is it?

We've rolled out improvements to the incident capabilities within Blerter; including the ability to add custom fields to your incident templates, and improving the UI to make it easier to see what's happening within an incident.

Why is it important?

As an event organiser, you’ll likely have your own standard procedures in place to handle event incidents. This means that you need to be able to have the flexibility to create custom fields that map to your procedures and capture your own unique set of information.

Our streamlined UI provides a much more user-friendly experience, so that once incidents have been created with either a regular form, or with custom fields, they are easier for you to manage, and quicker for your frontline workforce to complete.

How does it work?

Your incident templates have now moved from your account settings to event settings (left-hand side menu of your event).

When creating an incident template, you'll see that the details of the template divided into different tabs - Procedure, Form, Custom Fields and Tasks.

You can add your own custom fields with drag and drop from the list on the right-hand side, and edit each field by clicking on the pencil icon. The fields you add here will be available in any incidents that use this template.
